Imperfect fishing; 5th YUKAWA

I've been getting well from severe backache at my wife's parents house. And could go fishing today after over 2 months interval. It was too long for me. Destination is my favorite YUKAWA. Let me see superb brookie again, please.

Could get up before 4AM, took shower, and left home 4:17AM.

5:34 arrived there as scheduled.

after finishing all fishing preparation including wearing wader.

6:12 first fish was HONMASU.

Caught 4 HONMASU today as total.

6:17 first brookie!! I missed you a lot.

9:14 today's best brookie to conclude.

10:47 I thought I could catch better fish from now.

Unfortunately I didn't have any rain wear today...

So went back to the parking lot.

Good job, new repaired rod! You caught 12 fishes today.

But I would like you to see more nice brookies, I think.

I gave up fishing here YUKAWA because of bad weather and bad preparation.

Just a kind of imperfect combustion...

1. HIGENAGA's appearance is around noon. You should use another fly until that.
2. The fallen tree is the key for the superb brookie. Don't fish there carelessly.

My third trip to YUKAWA

It is time to have your annual fishing trip to YUKAWA, Lance! The following are memorandums for the next year;

• Get up 4:20, and leave 20min later.
• Arrive at AKANUMA-CYAYA 5:45.
• Preparation for fishing, and wear the wader.
• Take a pic of MOZU, Bull-headed Shrike 5:58.
• Buy a one-day fishing ticket past 6AM as soon as the shop opens.
• Move to YUDAKI, and get it started!

Around YUDAKI fall, caught over 5 fishes. Good start.

Hit flies were typical summer terrestrial patterns.






Said good-bye to YUDAKI once.

#14 ELK was also enough.

And this is my first SHAKU brookie, 31cm.

He rose up and sipped my dry fly very slowly.
