So I showed her the fly pattern text book, and asked to choose her favorite pattern which she wanted to tie.

MAKI MAKI

It took long time to tie them because of long interval.
But, I'm getting shifted to fishing mode gradually.

First preparation for the opening of the fishing season

 just opened the fly box after long interval,
and sorted out the good one from the bad ones.
Now I know what kind of fly I should tie first of this year.

She is missing KFS' closing very much.

Today she tried sight fishing in short range mainly, because it was too windy.

She did great job, caught 7 big ones and many smalls in 2 hours by herself without any my help.

It seems that I need to find alternative good fishing field for her immediately...

Our New Year's

Happy new year, to all! We had busy but peaceful new year days here.

We tried to fly a kite which my dad made and she painted before.











We found that it was not well-balanced, a kite tail should be attached next time.





She was busy for practice of riding a unicycle.







Our first new bird of this year was TAHIBARI, Rock Pipit. We saw it on the way to home after our first visit of the year to a shrine.
