OSHINO without fishing pole

I forgot to write it though, we saw a HOTARU(firefly) after fishing at OSHINO. When I told my family about it, they said 'Let us see the HOTARU, dad!!'  Oh I see, sweetie. Let's go there today.
We visited the SAKANA Park first.

It was much better than I'd imagined.
They seemed to like it very much, too.

She is trying to draw a picture of HIMEMASU trout using PC.

Go out around 4PM.

Found about #14 size Spinner there.

KOSAKU which Tommy and Y-kun recommended was nice restaurant.

Famous ice cream shop for our circle.
Visit after over 10 years interval!

Mt. FUJI & Lake YAMANAKAKO.

Around 20 o'clock, we found the HOTARU at OSHINO!
Likely HEIKE_BOTARU species, smaller and darker than GENJI_BOTARU.

We all had fantastic time there together.

OSHINO after 5

Our company got started 'Summer Time Shift' from 4th of July, no overtime work. So we are free just after 5. Personally speaking, would like to be free from 3 or 4 something though, it may be good opportunity for poor fly fisherman. Gone for OSHINO with Tommy and Y-kun.
18:20 Started to fish

18:40 first fish by FUTASUJI crippled dun, after two big mistakes...

There were many rises, should be nice situation for us.
Very small mayfly(KUSHIGE?) was mainly seen and some FUTASUJI's hatch.

19:05  2nd one was also YAMAME, good size by KUSHIGE para

19:20  Last fish today by same small parachute.
After this fish, there were many crazy rises in very short time there. I couldn't got them...  Need to go there again soon to identify them.

#20~23 parachute

If KUSHIGE_MADARA mayfly's hatch will be good,
these small parachutes should work this evening, I think.

6-8AM Fishing this week

Water level was a little higher than normal.
Two good ones chased my  #10 orange stimulator though,
they likely knew that it was the fake.

This HIRATA' dun changed my mind.
Switched to #14 parachute pattern.

Caught two small ones, both had wonderful color.
Next week, I would like to catch the good ones which I missed today.

Feeling of orange

When I tied Stimulator last week, noticed that I didn't have any orange material.
Speaking of Stimulator, its color should be orange basically in my memory.
Orange is one of my favorite color also, so please give me a luck soon.

Let's go down to the river together

Check the current hatch.
It was first time to see the river for her.

Showed her the ladybug.

The providence of the nature.

MIZUMANJU

Made by my wife on July 7. It makes us cool because of KUDZU's semitransparent effect.
One of typical WAGASHI, Japanese sweets in summer.

TOYAMA; DAY 2

We stayed at the HOTEL in TONAMI city.

We didn't see any other fishermen there today.
Hoping that it will be good day.

Can you find my first fish?

It was hard to walk across the river without wet.

My beautiful second fish.
It was my last one in the daytime because of two mistakes...

We left this river with much disappointment.
Considering our poor skill, other something must be wrong there.

Moved to the river C, and waited until it will stop raining.

First fish by attractor.

Second one, #10 Stimulator was my only hit fly there.

3rd one by same only pattern.
I'd just ignored the hatch after countless try & error.
You are loser, Lance...

Maybe I forgot to try spinner pattern.
It was too difficult to find the answer though, it is fly fishing itself.
I'm thinking of next destination...

TOYAMA; DAY 1

Curryman and I left for TOYAMA Fridays night. And It took 5.5h there. It was our only pity that our friend and supreme fishing guide ICHIGO couldn't join us this weekend.
I decided to tie the terrestrial pattern first by this young hopper.

There were many other fishermen...

Walking curryman with the supreme guide book in his right hand.

I could catch the first and second fish within several casts.
Looked like fantastic start!

Curryman's shooting.

#14 parachute was seemed to be good choice.

Nice catch!

My late third one, and it was the last fish in a daytime.

Evening, moved to another river.

#10 stimulator gave me this 33cm IWANA(my new record)!
Though it was not match the hatch, I was so glad to see him.
