After 15:00, KOKAGE's hatch got restarted and rise got started!

I went up toward HAKONE this morning. I need to get used to this bike more though, it was fantastic ride time. I don't know how to express my thanks, but swear to cherish your bike, MAHIMAHI-san!

Weekday Fishing

I took a day off first time this year today. Needed a rest just for change.

                                              

Waiting a rise. But the main stream kept silence today.

I found a rise on second stream though, couldn't get it...

Blind fishing gave me a first fish on the rapids.

In the evening, couldn't see any rises at first hole. And found some at second hole though, it was not easy one. For fly fishing, difficulty is always fun itself.  I mean thank you for giving me lots of fun today.
By the way, HIRATA is getting pop out in the evening.

Fishing Guide D-chan

D-chan as my KANOGAWA mentor took me to his secret main stream hole today.

OKUMA was seen so often around noon. But it was hard to find the rise for me on main stream.

 D-chan gave me only one precious rise there. And I got it by OKUMA crippled dun pattern. Thank you so much!

Moved to another stream for blind fishing.

After two mistakes for good ones, caught small one there.

In the evening, the river kept silence. I had no chance to cast for rises.

My strong passion for the fly fishing is getting back now.

The present from my wife

to us was SAKE and Green tea coke. SAKE was so fruity taste and I like it. Likely SAKE in SHIZUOKA has sweet and soft taste because of unique koji sort ( based on my wife's knowledge).

is typical traditional local food of my hometown. Now I know it is important to keep our traditional food culture as one of Japanese. Please teach me dad next time.
