This unknown mayfly
reminded me of something important this morning, just before leaving for the office. It was definitely new to me, middle sized female spinner with two tails.

これはフタバカゲロウのメスです。
吉祥寺で働いていた時に、玉川上水あたりでもよく見かけましたよ。春から秋までハッチしてるそうです。
これ、フタバなんですか？羽の前側が茶色になっているので、てっきり違うのかと…。勉強不足ですみません。
