MISHIMA city gave us

this MOKKOKU, Theaceae in celebration of new house building.

And got ROUBAI,Winter sweet as celebration of her entering primary school also.

It is likely time to finish your yard work, Lance.

Her skill of

fly fishing got much better.

"Pick up & Lay down", a basis of casting was good.

And today she succeeded in setting a hook by herself for the first time.

Landing is still difficult for her because of her arm reach.

Even it was only 1.5 hours,

much better for me than no time to fish.

FUTASUJI_MONKAGE mayfly came out there.




It took long time to see fish though, finally this AMAGO trout took my dry fly surely. It was really in perfect shape.







Evening fishing is likely always too short for me...

Our flower bed

Change to plan B...

Our original plan , 2hours KANOGAWA trip had to be changed to plan B in the early morning today...

We visited NUMAZU port after long interval.

IWATSUBAME, Asian House Martin was busy for making its nest.

Some BORA, Striped Mullet jumped in a harbor. I've been thinking salt water fishing recently.

Hot day around KANOGAWA main stream

It was so sunny day today.

Checked the first hole carefully in the morning, but the main stream kept silence...






And it was the same at the second hole...










Just for a change, moved to small branch stream afternoon.




Caught several small fishes there.




In the evening, the main stream still kept silence...
That is it. Only the weather was hot today.

Digging

Our yard work got started on May 5th, making a big hole to exchange the soil.







And ended on May 8th.

Let's get the rich soil and plug up this hole soon.

For HATAMI gathering,

we visited my parents house today as a day trip.

Compared with the year before last, this year was not so good. But enough to eat by ourselves.

Now I'm thinking of the timing to take a freeway this evening, being afraid of super heavy traffic jam...

Her OSHINO debut

She was doing sight fishing with her fly on the right pic.

I thought it was a little early debut for her though, she said that she liked there. Let's be there together again.

30 over and 60 over,

which I caught this morning. I must be crazy, if they were syaku-amago and SATSUKI...

I had free time only in the morning, headed for KANOGAWA main stream. Stated fishing 5:45AM, crazy Lance... But I know you had no option...

There were a few spotty rises. Several species' spinner were seen there. This ERUMON_HIRATA was one of them. I grabbed the lure tackle for short time investigation.

7:15AM first fish was 30 over UGUI(dace), caught by the reaction movement of spoon at the bottom.

63cm(25inches), NIGOI(Barbel steed). Also reaction around the bottom was effective. He was so tough boy, anyway.
