HAKAMATAKI Campground

We've been swamped with our new home planing, and should have no time for leisure on this weekend.

But we already had special plan with our daughter's friend's family to go camping together. They booked HAKAMATAKI campground for us.

It was located in the forest and close to HEDA harbor, west part of IZU Peninsula. A little over 1 hour drive from our house.

These tree made good shade for us.

They were trying to catch the fish by their net.

I could have a time for fly fishing at small stream.

Many rainbow trouts were caught by peacock curved shank parachute.

Small but beautiful wild AMAGO trout.

KOMOCHI_MANNENGUSA; One of stone-crop

MURASAKI KATABAMI; Purple Oxalis

The next day, we went down to the sea, HEDA harbor.

They tried SUIKA-WARI, watermelon bust, first time. Its taste was also good.

We enjoyed early summer of west IZU Peninsula so much

Unexpectedly,

our new home building plan got started.

We didn't make any decision yet though, thinking of it seriously.

It is a kind of hard work sometime, but fun time also.

Hope we'll have good one soon! I made up my mind to said good-bye to fishing for a while...

Hatch on the wall today

was as follows.

SHIROHARA_KOKAGEROU mayfly's female dun, most famous one of baties species in Japan.

And its male dun also.

FUTABA_KOKAGEROU mayfly's female dun.

Looks like hatch itself has been getting activated recently. They must call me to the river.

Grown up

ASAGAO, morning glory.

HIMAWARI, sunflower.

Both of them were grown up well.

We made a quick sketch of them this morning. Doing something together with kids is fun and good thing for us both, I believe.
