Are you ready for

Salmon Fishing Trip from tomorrow, Lance?

He said 'I think, almost... no, not yet...' He was still struggling to finish his preparation until midnight, because he spent too much time for tying only...

Bad time management, Lance...

In just left corner of his fly box, there is his secret weapon.

Guess what, guys!

Birds of today

SHIJUUKARA, Great Tit; often seen recently.

MEZIRO, Japanese White-eye; long time no see.

And today's surprise was JOUBITAKI, Daurian Redstart.

Since it is winter bird, we'll have it soon maybe.

Sunny day in cold was nice.

SEGUROSEKIREI, Japanese Wagtail; often seen around the water's edge.

Many radio-controlled white yacht were there today.

KITATEHA butterfly sipping one of composite's nectar.

Hopefully, we'll find good walking course around our new house.

Columns as foundation

It was so nice fine day today. We went to our new house building place to see its progress.

The drilling machine is for building columns.

It digs the ground with drill and pours the cement into the hole at the same time. 28 columns! Please keep us safe, even if the big earthquake has come.

The real foundation work itself should be started tomorrow.

Her first tying

Eventually Lance was back to tying last night after about three months intervals, because he was quite behind his preparation for this weekend's salmon fishing.

And this early morning, when he was tying flies for salmon fishing, she said that she wanna try it also.

This is her first work. Most special feature is that she mainly used her own materials which she gathered outside like a park. That is great, sweetie!

Since she liked eye shaped silver weight, I helped her to attach it on her second work. Looks much nicer! You should try it by yourself at fishing pond.

Doing something together is good thing for us both, I think.

We had happy morning tying time today.

Our first piano recital

My mom, as professional hairdresser, dresses her granddaughter's hair, every time she comes to our house.

Looks nice, thanks mom.

It was her first piano recital today.

She stayed quite unruffled, and played so well!

And it was first experience for me also. Yeah, exactly first time, I'd never touched any keyboards in my life. Just started it this April.

My job was to accompany her on the piano, 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'.

Though I got stage fright much, did my best I think.
These two pix was took by Y-san.

She was happy to have them. Many thanks for Mr. & Mrs. Y-san today!

Exhausted day for me, but found much fun of music again today. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. M-san and congratulations!!

Shijuugara, Great Tit, always looks nice with his tie.

The end of precious time, see you next week.

MEDETAI

We had JICHINSAI,the Shinto ceremony of purifying a building site, today.

It was so nice with beautiful weather. Hope safe and peaceful life there.

These foods as the offering should be taken home and eaten for good luck.

Especially TAI, sea bream, is most famous one of lucky foods.

I steamed it wrapped with much salt. So-oooooo tasty!

Here comes autumn!

OZIKO came into bearing eventually. It is the harvest season just now.

They changed interior decoration to the Halloween's one. It reminded me of the life in US.

About myself, busy for piano practice everyday. Rome was not built in a day, but lots of fun!

This new plate shows

the border between neighbor's land and mine.(My cell phone's camera's quality wasn't good... )

It was today that I got proprietary rights of land legally. My feeling was a kind of mixed one, excited and a little nervous...
