The river runs through it, no matter how sad I am.

Upper section was just silent.

Move to the lower section which I've never seen any AMAGO trout.

But I could see some good ones there, even though I could catch baby only...

Hopefully I'll be back soon.

Dear my friend,

I bought your favorite picture book, 'UN JOUR, UN CHIEN' by Gabrielle Vincent. And now I knew the reason why you loved her book. I am still looking forward to reading your first picture book.
May you rest in peace.

Try & Error

My today's strategy was "To find new hole of KANOGAWA branch and to enjoy the evening of main stream". Especially I was expecting MONKAGE's hatch and rise for it around the main stream.
H-river was new branch stream for me.
Location was so nice with beautiful young green color!

MONKAGE was often seen there.

HIRATA's spinner was also seen(NAMIHIRATA?).

Baby AMAGO trout. Likely it was born by reproducing.
Try the new hole of O-river branch.

Countless OIKAWA attacked my dry fly.

Except MONKAGE, large stonefly was seen often there.

Said good bye to O-river and headed Z-river's new hole.

Countless hatchery small rainbow trout attacked my fly there.
Too many escapees, not good thing...

Moved to the main stream. There were several rises,
but it didn't seem to be AMAGO's...

MONKAGE's hatch was poor at the mainstream this evening.
It was a kind of miscalculation, but I found many new findings today.

Pasta

I cooked the crabs with tomato cream sauce after long interval.
Looks not bad though, I'm not satisfied with its taste...

The latter half of GW,

we visited my parents' home.
Their kitchen garden got bigger than before.

Our annual event 'Digging HATAMI shellfish'

Digging itself is a kind of hard work using huge rake.

Not so bad. Looking forward to the dinner tomorrow.

KANOGAWA

main stream kept silence this time also.

Except this one. Moved to the branch river.

Super tiny AMAGO there.

Got the pretty one also.

27cm was maybe my AMAGO record?

Our Golden Week

got started at my wife's parents' house.
She was happy with the snowmen made of the snow
which her grandma preserved for her.

Shijukara, Great tit was often seen there this time.

She loves the field athletics.

It likely was good sunny day for the turtles also.

Poor FROGGY,

which couldn't go out on the rainy day.
Poor my older daughter, who couldn't go to SCOA's spring camp because of bad flu.
Poor my wife, who couldn't have special weekend.
Poor my younger daughter, who couldn't stop crying in her father's arms.
Poor Lance, who missed his fishing trip this weekend.

Poor Lance family, but they must be happy only to have good time together this weekend.

Busy weekend

Charity concert, which our friends Music Lab Familia joined.

We had to leave in a short time,
so couldn't listen their musical performance well.

Walking at dusk, younger baby daughter didn't stop crying...

GOTENBA

Cherry blossoms started to  fall there.

Baetis's spinner(SHIROHARA?),
don't tempt me to go fishing until next weekend.
